This is my a case by case basis, and must be arranged a few hours in advance. Call the restaurant for help.
Chow mein is not their speciality, they specialize in spicy food. They do have spicy noodle dish call chong qing street noodles tho.
Authentic taste with awesome customer service
We didn't order a lot but food was tasty.
good and tasty
My meal here was quite delicious, I had the Kung Pao Chicken, and the Boiled Pea Leaves. The service was fine, the restaurant was pretty busy but the service staff took care of the essentials. They pretty much drop off whatever food you ordered and leave you to it unless you flag them down for anything. Overall my experience was good, this is a good place if you enjoy very spicy foods.
Most every dish is excellent and authentic here. The signature dish is the fried chili chicken. Out of this world. You can go wrong with the eggplant or ribs and really never had a bad dish here. The service is good, atmosphere nice and they even have TVs showing sports! The only things is the entrance to the parking lot is a bit odd but that's a minor nit.
Came here with friends for celebrating birthday. Love all dishes and the service here. The waitress gave a bowl of longevity noodles to the birthday boy! Sweet💕
This place is pretty true to its roots. Their menu has great images detailing their foods and even some of the history behind them. Service is extremely fast considering the foods they have to prepare and prices for the proportion of food are great!Their lamb is oily and delicious served on an tree stump with a side of spices to dip into and enjoy. Most of their dishes come with a side of novelty in their presentations. Plan to walk out of this place smelling delicious.
Good dinning environment for an event
I went in a group of 8 and we each ended up paying $27 each after tax and tip. Prices were higher than your average Szechuan place in SGV, but the ambience, service and precise execution of dishes made up for the prices. Items ordered:Shredded Pork cold appetizer (cooked pork belly w cucumber slices hanging on a rack); shredded pork w garlic sauce; Sichuan dumplings; housemade tofu; sautéed pea leaves; boiled fish in chili sauce; sautéed lamb w cumin; peppery chicken; lightly fried pork buns; special lamb chops. The person in our group who did the ordering was quite knowledgeable about Asian cuisine and suggested we get a pitcher of Osmathus Plum Juice to cleanse our palates in between bites of spicy dishes, which was quite effective, but might be an acquired taste for some.Less than a year since it opened, the flavors of the dishes thankfully haven't been Americanized and one can only hope Legendary Restaurant will continue to try to be true to their origins.
Good service, good food
Some dishes are much better than others. Food presentation better than others. Atmosphere is better normal but not upscale. Staff is straightforward. Pricing is around $20 to $30 per person.
Very tasty Chinese food but very spicy
Great food, great service, just be cautious of ordering a lot, it gets a bit overwhelming and could be hard to finish.
Over priced.
The pepper chicken is outta this world
The atmosphere is much better than nearby resturants and the food tastes good. The service is around average level. One thing, be aware that some of the recipes are over priced!
A Pretentious Szechuan style restaurant
Unique and fascinating array of Sichuan offerings. Everything we had was fantastic. Not big on vegetarian entrees, but the eggplant dish was superb. Had my doubts about the spicy cabbage and cod soup, but could have made a meal out just this one delicious dish. We've been on the hunt for a noteworthy Chinese restaurant that wasn't the same ol' same ol' or so-so carryout place and have finally found one.
You need to hire more people
Perfect Sichuanese food in town.
The dishes are unique and with great quality. Nice tastes and inexpensive for the food you get.
Good but very authentic
Good Chinese food with very fancy plating and presentation. Don't mind the prices because it is well worth the food and experience.
Authentic Food, attentive staff
Came here on Tuesday for lunch, no lining up or waiting, order the chilli chicken, taste good and not too spicy, the homemade yogurt is really good, would definitely order again next time.
Jonathan Gold in the LA Times slightly over praised, but it was impressive and authentic
Delicious
Hanseok produces fine Sichuan cuisine. From the ingredients to the dishes, the store's intentions are revealed!
One of the best Szechuan restaurants in LA
Good location, parking in the hotel, fair price, great dishes, Free Wi-Fi, accept Visa and MasterCard.
The food are in style
Love the taste and shape of the food. Location is a little wired though.
so delicious
One of the best Sichuan food in Los Angeles
Authentic Spicy Chendu Style Dishes.
Great. The smoked lamb ribs were ... Legendary. As was the eggplant with century eggs, the stinky tofu ma po tofu, and the mushroom with chili. The Peking duck was only okay, and the sweet and sour pork. But the service was great, the staff was pleasant and the place was bright, and pretty.
Good Good
Good food
Coming from the Bay Area, this restaurant is hands down the best Sichuan restaurant we’ve tried! Delicious, generous portion for the price, appealing and nicely made menu. Will recommend to friends!
Excellent food
A little pricey but great food!
THREE STARS on food (presentation and taste). TWO STARS on services (slow and careless). ONE/ -ONE STAR on filthy bathroom (it is very sad that no one care).
Feeling good
Very good
Pretty good place, eaten twice, great
